The 2010 Southern Ontario World's Largest Truck Convoy is coming to Paris, Ontario on September 18th. Joining the convoy and raising funds enables Special Olympics Ontario athletes to train and compete in sports programs throughout the year.
Now in it's 6th year, the Southern Ontario World's Largest Truck Convoy has grown into a much anticipated community event that brings together members of the trucking world, Special Olympics athletes, volunteers and sponsors for an event that celebrates the Special Olympics movement.

| 07:00 pm | NHL Alumni Softball Game - Cornwall
NHL Alumni brings some of the greatest names in Hockey off of the ice rink and onto the baseball diamond in Cornwall, giving you opportunities to meet some of the most renowned hockey players of all time! No one should miss this unique chance to shake the hand of hockey hall of famers, and Stanley cup winners. This exciting and entertaining game will feature players from such hockey legend teams as Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Black Hawks and many more. They are not only here to challenge members of the local Law Enforcement All Stars team to the baseball game of their lives but to raise money for Ontario Special Olympics with the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
“We are very excited to showcase an exhibition game with Brockville’s local heroes from the Law Enforcement All Star team” said Mark Napier, Executive Director, NHL Alumni. “We cherish the chance to get together as Alumni to play with old friends, all while raising money for a great cause.”
This entertaining baseball game for the whole family includes hilarious bloopers, gags and some of the most highly profiled former players in the NHL. This annual event, will take place on Saturday September 18th, 2010, 7pm at the Joe St. Denis Park, Cornwall, Ont.
A total of 5 baseball games will be exhibited in participating cities across Ontario, through to September 2010.
